Freighty Cat

CARGO AWAY!

Greetings!

Life in Detroit has taken shape, as most things do, in ways you can’t anticipate.

This year has seen a lot of progress with bicycles in general, as we both continue to stay busy with work.

The energy behind Freighty Cat has been getting focused on Leslie’s micro-distribution company Bike-ro Distro.

(Additionally, Leslie has been very busy playing in the Detroit Party Marching Band and helping to organize Crash Detroit.)

Please do contact us if you are interested in acquiring a cargo bicycle or rain cape, having your flyers/posters distributed around Detroit… or even if you just want to talk about bicycle advocacy!

  1. Congratulations on your new endeavor. Looking forward to following your blog. Hope to see you sometime.

  2. Thanks for doing this important work, showing that we don’t need to destroy the planet in order to move cargo.

so do you have a production bike ready?

  4. We would like to invite you to our Bike Detroit – Clearing a Path for Community Presentation at our office near Palmer Park. Building our network with people like yourselves is the surest way to bring sustainable solutions to the City’s issues. Our progressive ideas and actions to date will hopefully compel further initiatives and support for the Master Plan for Palmer Park and Master Plan for the Emerald Necklace bike route.

Target date is Friday May 16th – please send me your email address if interested.

    Thanks,
    Mike Folster

  5. Good to meet you this Weekend at Detroit Bike City. Let’s talk more about how we can get folks talking earlier and more often about transportation issues.
